Pahlmeyer Pièce de Résistance is a blend of our best Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from each vintage. With only 100 cases produced, it is highly allocated to our Preferred members only. The 2007 vintage will be released November 3, 2011. $300 per bottle. Please click below for more information.
PAHLMEYER PETIT VERDOT
Pahlmeyer Petit Verdot is a unique single-vineyard bottling from our Waters Ranch vineyard, draped over the ridge of Atlas Peak at 1800 to 2100 feet in Napa Valley.
Winemaker Erin Green requires that each varietal we grow stand on its own, harvesting every block of grapes at optimal maturity, then fermenting and aging as small lots. The Petit Verdot from our Waters Ranch Estate Vineyard has historically been blended in to our Proprietary Red, contributing to our signature wine’s deep purple color, density and berry, cherry and earth aromas. However, this wine demanded a solo and inspired us to bottle this 100% Petit Verdot.
Selected by our winemaker Erin Green, there were only 75 cases made from the 2008 vintage, released February 2011. Please click below for more information.
