2021 Jayson Rosé of Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

Our 2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir achieves a beautiful balance of expressive fruit, supple mouthfeel, and mouthwatering acidity, reflecting the vibrant beauty of Sonoma Coast terroir. Opening with bounding aromas of fresh cut strawberry, ripe watermelon, and sweet basil. Bright, mouth-filling notes of Bing cherry, tangerine, and blood orange cascade over vibrant notes of pomegranate, strawberry, and Key lime, surging long on the crisp finish. Enjoy with aged Gruyère, raspberry-goat cheese crostini, or a watermelon salad with feta and fresh mint.

Whole grape clusters were hand-picked early to maintain natural acidity. Select lots were direct to press for Rosé, while other tanks were selected for saignée. After settling in tank, we racked to a mix of stainless-steel tanks and neutral barrels for fermentation, helping to complement the acidity and preserve delicate Pinot Noir aromatics. The wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation.
