The 2012 Jayson Chardonnay shows brilliant hues of golden straw accompany intense aromatics of honeysuckle, lily, vanilla and fresh melon in this luscious wine. A flush of roasted peaches, buttermilk ice cream and hint of sugared grapefruit are presented on a silky entry and smooth, well-mannered texture. Notes of rich toasted almonds and pecans linger throughout the wine’s long finish.

An alluring nose of vanilla, lime, mineral, toasted grain and licorice. The palate is silky on entry with coconut, vanilla blossoms and lychee with bright and sculpted pear and stone fruit in the core. Nice acidity. Drink 2015-‐2017.

This wine comes from a wide selection of fantastic vineyards, including Pahlmeyer’s coastal outpost, Wayfarer, as well as Ritchie Vineyard and a site on Atlas Peak. Dark golden in color, it’s luscious in vanilla, ripe apple and Meyer lemon, medium bodied veering into rich. Buoyed by overtones of fresh peach, it’s a worthwhile quaffer on its own or at the table.

Intriguing nose of sweet spring blossoms, ripe cantaloupe, sweet apple, vanilla, and nectarine. Rich on the palate, with cooked peach and apricot flavors over creamy sweet citrus and toasty yeast notes. Long, luscious finish with a note of spice on the end.

The grapes were hand-sorted and gently whole-cluster pressed. After settling overnight, the juice was racked to barrels for 100% native yeast barrel fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine was aged in 85% new French oak barrels for eleven months on the lees, which were stirred weekly.
