Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #95, October 1994

"Pahlmeyer's 1992 Chardonnay was exhibiting too much oak when I tasted it. Better integration of the wood would have resulted in an outstanding score as the wine is not lacking personality, richness, or character. Loaded with opulent, chewy Chardonnay fruit, it is pure, well-balanced, and delicious and satisfying despite the wood's aggressiveness. Drink it over the next 1-2 years."
